LJMU - Redmond Building
Acting as Main Contractor Optimus Facilities proudly delivered a full mechanical and electrical refurbishment for the Redmond Building, enhancing its efficiency and sustainability.
Our work included the replacement of ventilation systems and fan coil units (FCUs), along with the integration of advanced BMS controls for optimized performance. We also upgraded the lighting, small power, fire alarm, and data systems to improve safety, functionality, and energy efficiency.
This project formed part of a wider decarbonisation and energy efficiency initiative, ensuring a more sustainable future for the building.
The Brindley Theatre
Optimus Facilities is proud to have successfully completed the full mechanical and electrical design and build package for the new extension at The Brindley Theatre.
Our work included the installation of an LPHW heating system along with a new VRF heating and cooling solution, ensuring optimal climate control. We also designed and implemented a central ventilation AHU system and toilet extract systems to enhance air quality and efficiency. The project involved a mains distribution upgrade, as well as the installation of power and data infrastructure. Advanced lighting solutions, a fire alarm system, and access control were integrated to enhance safety and functionality. To ensure seamless operation, we implemented BMS controls, while specialist craneage facilitated efficient project execution.
This expansion enhances The Brindley Theatre’s facilities, providing a comfortable, modern, and efficient environment for visitors and performers alike.
LJMU - James Parsons
Optimus Facilities successfully delivered the mechanical works for the James Parson Building as part of a decarbonisation initiative, enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability.
Our scope of work included the installation of a Hybrid VRF air conditioning system, LTHW (Low Temperature Hot Water), chilled water systems, and domestic services. To ensure optimal performance and efficiency, we also integrated advanced BMS controls.
This project supports the transition to a more sustainable future by reducing carbon emissions and improving the building’s overall energy efficiency.
City of Liverpool College - LEX Building
Optimus Facilities was appointed to deliver the full mechanical and electrical design and installation for the LEX Building, enhancing its efficiency and functionality.
Our scope of work included a central ventilation upgrade, along with the installation of LTHW (Low Temperature Hot Water), chilled water systems, domestic services, and above-ground drainage. We also implemented advanced BMS controls for improved building management.
Additionally, we provided a full electrical upgrade, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm systems, access control, and CCTV, ensuring enhanced security, safety, and operational efficiency.
