Role: Optimus Facilities are currently recruiting Commercial Pipe fitters / Plumbers due to new contracts acquired. We require a number of commercial pipe fitters and Plumbers who will be responsible for carrying out fit outs as part of a team or when required on your own. The suitable candidate will be able to read and work from drawings, install all types of pipework and plumbing, carry out instructions from the site team and work within Health & Safety guidelines. Candidates should possess- CSCS card, a full UK driving licence, have a good background in commercial pipe fitting and plumbing and maintain good working relationship with colleagues and customers.

Attributes / Key Skills:
• Working on site around Liverpool
• Working mainly in large colleges, commercial offices and schools providing commercial pipefitting / plumbing installations, repairs and installation work.
• The vast majority of works will be within plant rooms with all associated equipment, hence a working knowledge of heating distribution and ventilation systems is essential.
• Pipe work covering all pipe sizes including galvanised iron, mild steel, copper, plastic, composite etc. to include mapress or similar jointing systems.

Role:
Optimus Facilities are currently recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor. This would be primarily a site-based role but with regular days in the office when required. The suitable candidate will be able to read and work from drawings, install all types of electrical systems, carry out verbal and written instructions and work within Health & Safety guidelines. Candidates should possess- CSCS card (Gold - approved status), a full UK driving licence, possess C&G inspection and testing, should have completed a full apprenticeship and be in possession of the latest edition wiring regulations. You would be expected to be comfortable both working alone and insupervising electrical internal and subcontract labour on projects and take the lead in testing and inspecting.
Attributes / Key Skills:
• Working on site around the Northwest, predominantly in Liverpool
• Working mainly in large colleges, commercial offices and schools providing electrical installation work.
• Works will include various types of cabling, containment and distribution systems, experience of a vast array of commercial wiring systems would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of heating systems desirable.
• Experience of compiling RAMS and other site required documents advantageous.
• Computer literate – Microsoft office and email etc, electrical certification software.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years industry experience post training/qualification
• Electrical Installation Qualification, i.e. NVQ Level 3 or similar
• Electrical Testing and Inspecting Qualification, i.e. C&G 2391
• Full UK Drivers Licence

Role:
We are looking for a Electrical Estimator with excellent organisational skills with proven experience of ensuring work tasks are completed on time. We require candidates preferably with knowledge of the electrical construction industry. The overall remit of the role is to support the senior management team with tendering activities, in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
Reports To: Director
Qualifications:
• An HNC Building Services Engineering would be beneficial
• Construction experience working as an electrician would benefit the candidate Must be computer literate as appropriate to the role – Minimum Word, Excel, Outlook, Dropbox
• Trimble experience would be beneficial
• Full training plan will be provided for the role and will be reviewed on the candidate’s current level on training

• Ability to handle estimates from initial enquiry through to final submission

• Full material take-off of services drawings and specifications as required
• Submitting enquiries to suppliers and sub-contractors, negotiating where necessary to ensure best prices are obtained
• Carry out site surveys as required
• Ensure deadlines are met with all enquiries
• Ensure all estimates and proposals adhere to the relevant industry standards, regulations and legal requirements
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and drawings accurately
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong problem solving skills and a proactive mindset
• Ensure that all project related documents are properly completed and signed
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in all aspects of the project
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
